Is therapy for me ?
There is no “good” or “bad” reason to seek professional therapeutic guidance. Seeing a psychologist is meeting with a professional in humans above all.
Reasons for consulting are many and diverse :
- experiencing some difficulties whether they are personal, professional, concerning your couple, your family or of any kind with the feeling of being stuck in this situation.
- hardships or painful life experiences (loss, break up, job loss, etc.)
- questions for which you seek guidance and advice (career change, feeling that something is missing or inaccurate in your life, etc.)
- self-improvement and personal growth, self-care and better acceptance of oneself.
